| The seas were calm so less than an hour later we reached Consag Island--a precipitous guano encrusted rock jutting abruptly out of the Sea of Cortez. The only land for dozens of miles in any direction, it is home to thousands of sea lions and pelicans who literally cover it's every surface. |  |
